It only takes a spark
To get a fire going
And soon all those around
Can warm up in its glowing
That’s how it is with God’s love
Once you’ve experienced it
You spread His love to ev’ryone
You want to pass it on
What a wondrous time is spring
When all the trees are budding
The birds begin to sing
The flowers start their blooming
That’s how it is with God’s love
Once you’ve experienced it
You want to sing it’s fresh like spring
You want to pass it on
I wish for you my friend
This happiness that I’ve found
You can depend on Him
It matters not where you’re bound
I’ll shout it from the mountain top
I want my world to know
The Lord of love has come to me
I want to pass it on

WHY REJECT WATER BAPTISM? BY steve finnell
Why do men reject the purpose of water baptism?
Perhaps they trust church leaders more than the Bible.
They might believe their denominational creed book is actually Scripture.
It is possible some men believe they are smarter than God. That is pride defined.
They have heard the false doctrine of “Saved BY FAITH Alone” so many times, that they believe it is true.
[NOTE: There is no Scripture that states men are saved by faith alone. There is no Scripture that says immersion in water is not essential for salvation]
They believe their preacher knows more than God.
They have been deceived by a skilled professional.
They refuse to prayerfully search the Scriptures for the truth.
It could be self imposed blindness to God’s truth.
They do not want to hurt the feelings of friends and relatives.
They do want to admit the error of believing false doctrine.
One thing is certain, no honest person can read the following Scriptures and believe that immersion in water is not essential for salvation.
What are the effects of water baptism?
